Look no further for your information page that has everything you need to know about MWACA, TTEF and VISION Awards & Scholarhsips for 2021.  Here, you will find specific information on each award & schoalrship offered along with a link to apply.  Every year at the VISION Hi-Tech Training and Expo, Awards recipients are announced during our Celebration of Independents Dinner, this year to be held on March 6, 2021.  Is your shop interested in applying for one of the annual VISION awards?  Look no further!  Our awards applications will open September 1, 2020 -checkback soon!  All awards and Memorial Scholarship applications will be due on January 8, 2021.  To be eligible, all applicants must be registered to attend VISION 2021.  The MWACA Student Scholarships are due on December 1, 2020.   For a full list of our 2021 Awards & Scholarships and to apply, please reference below:

Humanitarian of The Year 

The VISION Humanitarian Award was established in 2012 to recognize outstanding contributions in the community. The recipient of the award is recognized annually and given an  award at the VISION Celebration of Independents Awards Dinner on Saturday evening.  What is a humanitarian? A humanitarian endeavors to improve the human condition through saving lives, improving the quality of life, and alleviating suffering, while supporting and contributing to the basic human dignity of those in need.

EDUCATOR of The Year 

VISION HiTech Training & Expo launched the Educator Think Tank Program with the goal of bringing together Automotive Technology educators in a learning driven and exciting environment to brainstorm, collaborate, and learn. With the success of the program, comes a desire to recognize these educators that have dedicated their careers to the Automotive Technology Industry and that teach and empower the future of the industry.  This honor will be awarded to an individual who’s commitment to their program and students sets them apart. They will have demonstrated innovative and successful teaching methods and a drive to continually adapt and move forward in their teaching field.  The Educator of the Year will be announced at the VISION Celebration of Independents Awards Dinner on Saturday evening, March 7th.

MWACA's Student Scholarship

Here at MWACA, we aim to solve our technician shortage crisis through investing in our industry's students.  Every year at VISION, up to 4 students are awarded $1,000 scholarships to further their education as well as a weekend training package to attend VISION training courses.
